Vision Quest Into Symbolic Reality
Lalita has been extensively trained in an expressive arts therapy for people of all ages known as Vision Quest Into Symbolic Reality (VQISR), as developed by Gisela Schubach de Domenico, Ph.D. VQISR offers an opportunity to tap into and draw upon the wisdom of Psyche, our deepest consciousness, by using miniatures to create scenes, patterns and dramatic processes in a container of sand. Come and reclaim the wonder and joy of play!
The power and magic of this vision quest allow the client, or "world builder," to be present to whatever reveals itself in this sacred form of play. It can be a truly transformational opportunity to bond with one's partner, connect to departed loved ones or ancestors, and mark rites of passage. Celebration, grief, trauma resolution, separation, endings and new beginnings can all be profoundly processed in the expansive states of consciousness that are accessed in this way.
